WHITE HILLS BOTANICAL GARDENS

Public BBQ

White Hills Botanical Gardens presents an unexpected delight behind its modest street frontage - a sprawling botanical wonderland that consistently surprises visitors with its scale and variety. The heritage section, established in the 1850s, showcases sweeping lawns beneath towering elms, while a tranquil billabong attracts resident ducks and contemplative wanderers alike. The newer sections demonstrate thoughtful contemporary design, celebrating native Australian flora. Families gravitate toward the shaded playground, where children discover trampolines and the mysterious fairy tree that captures young imaginations. The abundant picnic spots scattered throughout accommodate everything from quick family stops to leisurely afternoon meanders.
